THE LIVE MUSIC SCENE IN MANLY HARBOUR VILLAGE
When it comes to live music there’s something for everyone each week in The Village. Liven up your week with some old school rock or regular acts from local indie, solo and Celtic artists or just get yourself through hump day at a mid-week gig. Whatever night you choose, there’s plenty of live events in Manly Harbour Village to help you get your groove on.
Manly Deck Bar & Restaurant – There’s always something entertaining going on at The Deck. Live music this week from 6.00pm Wednesday to Saturday with Steve Tannoq; Ian Calvert; Short Back and Sides; and Funk Delux Scott Geary.
The Manly Hotel – Live music all weekend starting 5pm Friday with Tony Boyd; lunchtime Saturday sees Byron Short; then Darrel Beasant from 5pm. More live music Sunday from 2pm with Ramjet.
Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club – Live entertainment all weekend. Friday 13th July 7.30pm – Dan Lewis, Saturday 14th July 7.30pm – Steve Tannock, Sunday 15th July 1.30 – 5.00pm – Ian Calvert.
Celtic Corner – ‘Bhi craic agus ceol againn’ (general banter, good times had by all). Guaranteed good nights to be had at Manly’s only Irish Pub. First Saturday of each month sees the rollicking Blarney Stone in the house, always a lively evening of entertainment.
Bluebottle Bar + Kitchen – An always welcoming neighbourhood bar with fantastic cocktails, a fabulous atmosphere, great food and live music. This Friday 13th July from 8pm is David Solis and Ian Calvert; Saturday 14th July is Peter Black.
The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron – Check out the Facebook page for July live entertainment, also check out Jazz & Shiraz night every Saturday. Head on down on a Sunday and you may well find some great talent for the ‘Sunday Sessions’.
Tide Wine Bar – Live music every Sunday from 3pm. This Sunday 15th July we are looking forward to having Shark and Wine back in the house for the Sunday Sounds session.
