THE LIVE MUSIC SCENE IN MANLY HARBOUR VILLAGE
When it comes to live music there’s something for everyone each week in The Village. Liven up your week with some old school rock or regular acts from local indie, solo and Celtic artists or just get yourself through hump day at a mid-week gig. Whatever night you choose, there’s plenty of live events in Manly Harbour Village to help you get your groove on.
Manly Deck Bar & Restaurant – There’s always something entertaining going on at The Deck. Live music this week from 6.00pm Wednesday to Saturday with Curtis Luxton; Simply Acoustic Simply Solo; The Craw; and Freddie Scat.
The Manly Hotel – Live music all weekend starting 5pm Friday with Brent Hutchinson; lunchtime Saturday is Gav Bell; then from 5pm its Nathan George. More live music Sunday from 2pm with Sweaty Palms in the Beergarden.
Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club – Live entertainment all weekend. Saturday 22 September from 7.30 – Ian Calvert; Sunday 23 September from 1.30pm – Alex Hawkins.
Celtic Corner – ‘Bhi craic agus ceol againn’ (general banter, good times had by all). Guaranteed good nights to be had at Manly’s only Irish Pub. This Friday 21st September is Robbie Dunn is back in house.
Bluebottle Bar + Kitchen – An always welcoming neighbourhood bar with fantastic cocktails, a fabulous atmosphere, great food and live music. This Friday night The Dukes of Halibut are back in-house.
The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron – Check out the Facebook page for September live entertainment, also check out Jazz & Shiraz night every Saturday. Head on down on a Sunday and you may well find some great talent for the ‘Sunday Sessions’.
Tide Wine Bar – Live music every Sunday from 3pm. This Sunday 23 September, the very lovely Candice Long is back for the Sunday Sounds session. A perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
