If you have visited the Manly business centre after dark, you would have been impressed by its tree lighting that gives the area such a festive atmosphere. Two more large fig trees in Little Bayside Park are also about to be lit up. These lights are provided by the traders of Manly Village who invite you to make the most of the party atmosphere and celebrate Christmas in July.
The Village restaurants and cafes are responding with winter warmers such as roasted pumpkin soup with candied sunflower seeds and sourdough, oysters grilled with bourbon and chipotle chili and garlic, seafood chowder and deserts of poached pears with cream fraiche.
Ebb and Flow’s window display of a fabulous Christmas tree will draw you in to check out its fashion and abundant treasures.
With the sun setting soon after 5 pm, the trees are lighting up earlier, creating a wonderful winter, festive atmosphere. Being school holidays, it is a perfect time to enjoy a family outing. And don’t forget, this Saturday, Little Bayside Park will be abuzz with the free screening of The Parent Trap.
For a great winter festive holiday outing, come and support the Manly Village traders who contribute so much to the Manly community.
