Vanessa Carrick of Move Podiatry, Manly Harbour Village has outgrown her tenancy in Manly Harbour Village 7 Day Markets. The growing 5 year old business now requires two specialist consultants. Move is a holistic podiatry practice that sees feet as being part of whole body and recognizes that feet issues can impact on more than just feet. To accommodate two practitioners, Move is being relocated to the space previously occupied by Crossley Cycles, opposite the Manly Hotel.
The cycle shop has been relocated to 453 the Esplanade overlooking Little Bayside Park and the Moreton Bay Cycleway. Richard Crossley first established his business at 45 Cambridge Parade in March 1980 clocking up 38 years of looking after bikes in the area.
Long term locals may remember Richard arranging freestyle bike displays with riders jumping off ramps to unbelievable heights. Many will also remember the Crossley Flyer Billy Cart winning the Billy Cart Derby down Cambridge Parade, touching 50 km per hour before ploughing into piles of hay bales to stop it running into the Harbour.
Both these businesses are benefitting from the flexibility of being able to maintain their same customer base by relocating within the Village.
