This coming Saturday is the eleventh day of the eleventh month: Remembrance Day. It is 75 years since the Battle of Kokoda and 100 years since the Australians acted with great valour at the Battle of Beersheba. To commemorate the contribution that so many of our armed forces have made in many fields of conflict, the Manly Lota RSL Sub Branch will be holding a service commencing at 10.45am at the Richard Russell Park, Manly. Everyone is invited to attend withmembers of the public encouraged to lay a memorial wreath.
Also on Saturday, in the Manly Seven day Markets will be a mini petting zoo and free face paintingas a part of the grand reopeningManly Village Pharmacy.
