THE LIVE MUSIC SCENE IN MANLY HARBOUR VILLAGE
When it comes to live music there’s something for everyone each week in The Village. Liven up your week with some old school rock or regular acts from local indie, solo and Celtic artists or just get yourself through hump day at a mid-week gig. Whatever night you choose, there’s plenty of live events in Manly Harbour Village to help you get your groove on.
Manly Deck Bar & Restaurant – There’s always something entertaining going on at The Deck. Live music this week from 6.00pm Wednesday to Saturday with Steve Tannock; Simply Accoustic Simply Solo with Tony Troughton; The Paisley Road Band; and The Craw.
The Manly Hotel – Live music all weekend starting 5pm Friday with Simon Bolt; lunchtime Saturday is Gav Bell; then from 5pm its Nathan George. More live music Sunday from 2pm with Wild So Well in the Beergarden.
Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club – Live entertainment all weekend – from Friday to Sunday with Ian Calvert; Cryss Coleman; and Alex Hawkins on Sunday.
Celtic Corner – ‘Bhi craic agus ceol againn’ (general banter, good times had by all). Guaranteed good nights to be had at Manly’s only Irish Pub. This Friday is Traditional Music Night; Saturday see the rollicking Whiskey Remorse back on the agenda for a great night. First Saturday every month, Blarney Stone are in house for a great night of Irish ballads.
Bluebottle Bar + Kitchen – An always welcoming neighbourhood bar with fantastic cocktails, a fabulous atmosphere, great food and live music. This Friday night is Dave Solis & Rick Thompson.
The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron – Enjoy awesome live music in the beautiful surrounds of RQYS. Jazz & Shiraz Night every Saturday then head on down on a Sunday and you may well find some great talent for the ‘Sunday Sessions’.
Tide Wine Bar – Live music every Sunday from 3pm. This Sunday 18 November, Tide welcomes Mel Lathouras back for the Sunday Sounds session. Come on down, don’t let Monday ruin your Sunday.
